Honoring a Visionary: Jenny Nguyen

There are moments in the journey of building something like The Sports Bra that make you stop and feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Last week, our CEO and founder, Jenny Nguyen, graced the cover of Cherry Bombe magazine and attended the Cherry Bombe Power Awards, where she was honored with this year’s Visionary Award. This recognition belongs not only to Jenny but also to every single person who has ever believed in The Bra. She also got to meet and introduce one of the world's most powerful women. Read on!

A Vision Built by Our Community

Accepting the award, Jenny shared a powerful reminder that no great vision is built alone: “When people think about The Sports Bra, they think about my face, and they think about this person who represents The Bra. But, behind me stand thousands of people who said, ‘Yes, you can do this.’ If you have a vision, find your community, and then take action.”

The Bra started as a dream to create a space dedicated entirely to women’s sports. It became a reality because of the incredible community that rallied behind that dream. This award is a testament to the power of collective belief.

Celebrating Some Fellow Icons

The evening wasn't just about celebrating Jenny’s achievements; it was a room filled with powerhouse women making waves across sports, food, and media.

Jenny had the immense honor of presenting the Athlete of the Year award to Ilona Maher. (If you’ve been following Ilona, you know just how much she embodies the strength, confidence, and brilliance of women in sports right now!) Jenny also spent some time with the rest of the Maher sister trio, Olivia and Adrianna, and connecting with the brilliant chef Cara Stadler.

We want to extend a massive thank you to Cherry Bombe for recognizing Jenny and The Bra with this amazing achievement and for continuously championing women in the culinary and beverage spaces. 

And to you, our community, thank you for believing in the vision that is The Sports Bra. Whether you've been here since day one or just discovered us recently, you are part of this movement.
