Partnership will connect fans across NCAA championship seasons and allow The Sports Bra to build its own BRAcket community
PORTLAND, Ore. and WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 22, 2026 – The Sports Bra, the first sports bar to exclusively show women's sports, and 5wins, a media and community platform focused exclusively on women's collegiate sports, today announced a partnership to build a year-round series of BRAcket challenges for women's NCAA championship tournaments.
Hosted within a Sports Bra-branded experience and powered by 5wins, the website is designed to bring one of sports' most popular fan rituals to tournaments across the college sports calendar. The collaboration will launch with the NCAA soccer Selection Sunday event on November 16, and extend across BRAcket-based championship seasons, including basketball, softball, soccer, hockey, lacrosse, and volleyball.

"The Sports Bra has always been about more than what’s on the screen. It’s about giving fans a place to belong, share stories about athletes, debate over picks, celebrate upsets, and keep showing up," said Jenny Nguyen, founder and CEO of The Sports Bra. "March Madness has shown us what happens when women's college sports get a shared national ritual. With 5wins, we can carry that energy into tournament seasons all year and give women collegiate athletes a spotlight, and The Sports Bra community another reason to get together with their fellow fans.”
The partnership connects two complementary models for growing fandom. The Sports Bra gives fans a physical home to watch women's sports, while 5wins creates digital tools and athlete-centered coverage that help fans follow teams, players, and postseason storylines. 5wins has already hosted bracket challenges for women's college basketball, softball, soccer, and volleyball.
The fan-facing platform will look and feel like The Sports Bra, while 5wins will run the back-end mechanics, including bracket setup, scoring, standings, tournament administration, and updates. Fans can compete with their local community, and franchise teams will build watch parties and programming around women's college tournaments throughout the year.

"Women's college sports fans are ready to engage year-round. What has been missing are tools built around the way they want to follow their teams," said Alanna Goldman, co-founder and CEO of 5wins. "Brackets turn a tournament into a lively conversation. This partnership pairs 5wins' digital platform with The Sports Bra's ability to create community in person, building a stronger connection from one championship season to the next.”
For fans, the result is a simple way to make picks, track results, and stay invested as each tournament unfolds. For The Sports Bra's growing franchise system, the program creates a scalable national activation with opportunities for local events. For women's college sports, it turns the bracket from a one-month cultural moment into a year-round fandom.
The Sports Bra will share additional information about bracket launches, participating locations, and the tournament calendar on its social media, email newsletter, and website.
