72 Hours, Three Cities, and a Whole Lot of Women's Sports

If you had told me a few years ago that my calendar would look like a jam-packed flight itinerary powered purely by coffee and women’s sports energy, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. But a few weekends ago, I had quite the 72-hour stretch.
It was a whirlwind trip through three cities. I started in Rockford, Illinois, for the Women’s Baseball World Cup, headed to Chicago for WNBA All-Star Weekend, and finished up with a progress check at our St. Louis franchise site.
My First Stop: The Women’s Baseball World Cup
I caught a flight to Rockford to take in the energy at the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup Group Stage. If you’ve never watched elite women’s baseball live, put it at the very top of your watch list immediately. With the WPBL’s inaugural season now in full swing, there’s never been a better time to tune in! Women’s baseball has such a rich, deep history, and these athletes are absolutely unreal.

Next Stop: WNBA All-Star Weekend
There is nothing quite like the atmosphere of the WNBA All-Star Weekend. The vibe was electric, electric, electric.
Everywhere I turned, there was a celebration of world-class talent. I was surrounded by folks wearing team jerseys, young kids holding signs for their favorite players, longtime fans who have supported the league since day one, and thousands of newer fans, too.
Since starting The Bra, I’ve been lucky enough to attend a few All-Star games now, and it has become one of my favorite events of the year.
Last Stop: The Sports Bra St. Louis
To round out my tri-city trip, I headed to Maplewood, Missouri, for a site visit at our upcoming St. Louis franchise location.
Heather, the franchise owner, and I walked through the unfinished space with measuring tape in hand, getting all the final details sorted before construction begins. I am so excited for you all to see the completed space in just a few months!
What a weekend! I feel so lucky to spend my time surrounded by women’s sports while building this brand and bringing The Bra to more communities. I can’t wait for you all to see what’s coming next!
